With a new case covering and chrome fittings this violet wand looks stunning. A black faux leather hard waring covering has been used wtih a lovely texture. The interior is the original deep red cotton velvet and dates from around 1930. Its amazing its in such very good original condition so we kept it.

The control unit is make of black bakelite and can be removed from the case. It has two controls. )

• A fine power control (operating a rheostat)- fine tuning
• A main power control (operating a rheostat) - from zero to high

The sensations are wide from zero to low to medium to high and with the fine power control, ever so slight adjustments can be made.

There is also a voltage selector at the front of the control unit - a knob which selects either 110V (North America) or 220V (UK and Europe)

Naturally we have restored and fully checked the electrics and brought them up to the highest possible standards for a unit of this age. Internal wiring has been double insulated, good cable retention (push in / pull out) for both the mains and hand set cables - new capacitors - and we re tuned and cleaned up the unit.
