This is an excellent starter kit for anyone not too experienced with Violet Wands. Made in Blackpool / UK it has the three most wide ranging electrodes you would want - the rake for the hair and back of the neck, a Musroom for general massage and a metal tube - used in secondary contact

The case is made of 1960s plywood - its in pretty good condition (a few scuffs underneath) and the odd little dent - but nothing which would detract from its beauty. The case clips and handle are all in very good original condition.

Threre are three controls on the fascia

• Voltage Selector - either 120V (North America) OR 240V (UK and Europe)
• A WEAK or STRONG option
• The power control - from low to high - for the technically minded this adjusts the contact breakers rather than a rheostat - but the "weak" or "strong" option above compensates for this.

Naturally as with all our units, we have carried out a full electrical restoration - new interior wiring all double insulated, new capacitors (quite a few in this unit), new cables to mains and hand piece plus cable retention (push in or pull out), etc, etc
