This stylish Holo Electron celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Paris based firm "Holo Electron. This model is a cut down version of their classic - which dates from 1957 and appeared right up to the early 1990s

It is made from a board and metal case, covered in a lovely pvc brown faux leather with hard plastic corner plates and is in excellent condition although there are a few tiny scuff marks on the bottom and a couple on the top of the case. This does not detract from its beauty. The interior is in excellent original condition

The wand is insulated using polymers rather than the older wax paper - which means it can operate for longer periods - although we do not recommend extensive use.

There are TWO main controls

1. Power - from zero to medium to high
2. A six minute timer knob which cuts out the power at the end of the cycle

There is also a voltage selector switch - so it works in the UK/Europe or North America

Interestingly when applying the power to the user, you can use your free hand with startling effect as the metal in the handle increases the conduction of the wand output.

Naturally we carried out a fully electrical restoration - new capacitors - re insulate the internal wiring and replaced the cablles with longer lengths in modern flexible pvc.
